A book full of delectable recipes and fond memories of the duivekater from all kinds of Zaankanters. That is 'Ode to the Zaan duivekater' by Lex Brakenhoff (baker), Neeltje Waagmeester (text) and IDV (design).

The book features recipes from chefs such as Pjotr Rentinck (DeVijfdeSmaak), Astrid van der Meer (Masterchef), Raymond de Groot (Inntel Zaandam), Nick Kingma (eatery De Toog) and Rik van Diepen (De Hoop op d'Swarte Walvis). Foodies and Zaan home cooks also share a delicious recipe with duivekater in the book. Other Zaankanters such as Wolter Kroes, Dennis Boon, Hennie Huisman, Rob Swart, Siem de Ridder and Olympic champion Wietse van Alten share fond and special duivekater memories. Bas Husslage delved into the history of the duivekater for this book. Former mayor Faber wrote the foreword, while 'Kijk Zaans' Sarah Vermoolen wrote the epilogue.
